ENGLEWOOD, NJ, September 22, 2015 – There are many reasons The M at Englewood South has fast become a popular community for first-time buyers looking to enjoy the countless advantages of homeownership.

Topping the list is the incredible purchasing opportunity created by an innovate 97% financing package that enables young single-professionals and couples to buy an upscale Model.1condominium at the 125-home neighborhood with a down payment as low as $9,000.   The one-of-a-kind offer significantly lessens the initial financial commitment and has opened the door to the “American Dream” of condominium ownership for savvy millennials entering the housing game.

Also strongly cited as major considerations are the community’s value-packed pricing from the low-$300,000s, a commuter-friendly location minutes from the George Washington Bridge and a vibrant environment as other major considerations.

“The M at Englewood South fulfills a large percentage of first-time homebuyer needs,” says Ellie Kim, Sales Manager for The Marketing Directors, exclusive marketing and sales agent for The M.   “It starts, of course, with the affordability created by a minimal downpayment and attractive price structure.  Add in a location with a quick trip to Manhattan and on-site amenities that encourage social interaction, it’s easy to see why this community has fast become a destination for young buyers.”

Palisades Park launches text message alert system

via NJ.com

PP NixlePALISADES PARK — Borough residents looking to stay informed can now sign up for text message alerts from the police department, The Record reports.

To sign up for the Nixle service, residents can text their zip code to 888777 or go to nixle.com. The alert system is already used by dozens of towns across Bergen County to send messages on everything from parking restrictions to weather emergencies.

Nixle is provided at no cost to the borough and free to sign up, the newspaper reported. Alerts can be sent in Spanish, but Nixle charges for that feature.

The borough already uses a reverse 911 phone system, but officials said text messages would help reach residents who might not be home when alerts are issued, the report said.

Palisades Park is still working to launch a town website, making it the last municipality in Bergen County without an official working online home.
