HIP to be there

Want a blast of “Back to the Future” — and the good old ’80s? Huey Lewis and the News are heading our way.

TELL ME MORE: The bar-rock band, which had a total of 19 top 10 singles across the Billboard Hot 100 during the 1980s and early 1990s, is on its ” ‘Sports’ 30th Anniversary Tour,” to mark last year’s re-release of its 1983 album “Sports,” the breakthrough album that featured such hit songs as “The Heart of Rock & Roll,” “Heart & Soul,” “I Want a New Drug,” “Walking on a Thin Line” and “If This Is It.” The re-release also includes live versions of “Heart and Soul,” “If This Is It” and other songs.

The band’s other greatest hits included “The Power of Love,” “Back in Time” (both featured, along with a cameo by Lewis, in the film “Back to the Future”), “Hip to be Square” and “Stuck With You.”
